Lactic Acid is a non-irritating rapid exfoliator.
If you have used our 55% Lactic Acid Peel successfully,
this is your next step in the peeling process.
(Instructions listed above, under corresponding tab.)

Because Lactic Acid is a naturally occurring human metabolite, there is much less chance of allergic reaction using this type of acid peel. If you are looking for a peel with a good acidic value and with virtually no irritation, then this product is for you.

  • Loosens and removes the surface debris on the skin.
  • Softens comedomes.
  • Deep cleans pores.
  • Softens fine lines.
  • Extremely effective at stimulating natural collagen production for a fresh, moistened look.  Great for mature skin.
  • This particular formulation contains licorace extract, an extremely effective botanical skin-lightening additive.
  • Is a non-irritating acid treatment and great for sensitive skin.
  • No "down time", no noticeable flaking of the skin, just a sloughing-off of the dried, glued together
    sebum and surface skin debris.

Persons with milk allergies, should not use Lactic Acid products.

  • Lactic acid is very expensive and typically costs about $100-$150 for one salon treatment in most parts of the country.
  • Take advantage of the huge savings you'll get with our kits.
Extremely oily skin types, consider using our beta serum as your first-step before doing your peel to "cut through" the oil. While it is not a necessity, it will help extremely oily skin clients to realize better results with any of our acid peels.  And, you can use it between peels to help control oil.
Beta Hydroxy Serum
General Cautions:
  • Never use manual exfoliators nor scrubbing brushes within 24 hours of using a peel.
  • Stop Retin A, benzoyl peroxides, acne products and any other drying agents 24 hours before and after using an alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy peel.
  • If you are allergic to aspirin products, never use a salicylic acid nor beta hydroxy peel.
  • Never apply a peel without doing a patch-test first and waiting 48 hours for results.
  • Never apply a chemical peel to inflamed skin.
  • Always read product directions in their entirety and don't take shortcuts.
  • Use our BellEvolve Advanced Repair Cream for skin that has been chemically over processed.  It contains advanced healing agents that will quickly get your skin back to normal.

FDA December 2, 2002 Posting - Sun Sensitivity
Clients need to be aware that by using glycolic acid and other peeling products, your skin will be more photo-sensitive than normal.  It is recommended that you use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15, preferably SPF 30 or higher, after using skin peel products.  The FDA recommends using an SPF for one week post-peel.

    Great product
I have never used a peel before and after carefully reading reviews I’d decided to go with the lactic peel for my sensitive skin. I must admit that I was scared to try once I received it and thought that maybe it was a mistake that I bought the 65% one. The first time I tried it, I left it on for 6 minutes which might have been too long for someone who’s never used a peel before. After removing the product my face was super red, the next morning the redness had faded some but was definitely still red. On the third day the redness was going away except in a few spots. Then came the peeling but once that was gone my skin was smooth like it used to be back in my 20’s and 30’s. The second time I used the product I left it on for 3 minutes only and the result were also great.

This is MUCH stronger than the 55% lactic acid. With the 65% you really can't use a Clarisonic the day of, or remove hair within 3 days, or use Retin-A within 24 hours or you WILL get scabby burn spots. Go slowly with this if you're upgrading from the 55%. Results are great though. More aggressive freckle lightening. I used 55% once a week. I need to use this every 10 days because it is so strong.

    You Have to Try This
I am almost 50 (next month) and this is my second order of this peel. A little goes a long way. My skin looks fresh, feels smooth and it has faded my melasma to the point I don't have to wear foundation if I don't want to! People honestly think I am 15 years younger than I am and it is because of this peel!

    Works for hyperpigmentation
I started to see better results with this one then the 40% which was a bit drying for my skin. I have been using this peel for exactly 3 wks now 2x/wk and this one stings a bit, but I can manage to leave it on for a bit longer, and it is not drying at all, the next day my skin peels like glue. It feels really good to take off all the dead skin. With this one I noticed that the scars are getting better. My pregnancy mask has decreased probably by 30-40%, that is pretty good because I don't have to cover up as much, but I still do. Next I am going to do the tca peel to get rid of the rest of the scars. Will post again.

    Best, Affordable
This is the best, most affordable, easy to use beauty aid I can tell anyone. I love Makeup Artist Choice for providing this. I have been consistently utilizing the 65 % glycolic acid since 2014 and my skin has made such a recovery. I have suffered from moderate to severe acne for most of my teen and adult life, in addition to hyperpigmentation due to my sensitive African American skin. I rarely review anything and if I do it has to exceptional. This product, this company is. I am thankful to them for allowing me to feel so extremely beautiful on my wedding day last December and to continue to make me feel confident. The down time is minimal and the flaking you experience can easily be covered. I do not burn with this percentage except if I have an active pimple or have been extra scrubby with my face that week. I generally leave it on for 10 minutes and afterward I am left with extremely soft skin and a super beautiful glow for about a day or two until my skin starts to minimally flake. After that I wait to do my next peel. Thank you again, Makeup Artists Choice. You are my go to for awesome products!

    I love this acid!
I've used glycolic and TCA peels. I find the TCA too harsh and also too difficult to find time for (given how long and how much you peel afterwards). I still use a 70% glycolic regularly but this 65% lactic acid is now my favourite. I can't believe how soft and smooth my skin feels after I use it - and the soft, smooth feeling last days, not minutes or hours. I also love how this peel isn't drying. It's also a great way to exfoliate skin before applying other treatments/products to ensure their maximum absorption and effectiveness. Great work MUAC. Fantastic product.

    I cheated
I cheated. I went straight to the 65% lactic acid peel before trying out any other peels. I just knew this was what my face needed, as I already knew that lactic acid is probably the best option for smoothing skin that feels rough. I got the samples, and this will last me quite awhile. Not the toner, though. That's going fast, but the peel itself will last me for quite some time. I do a peel once every 3-4 days, let it sit the full 11 minutes, mild stinging, but when I wash it off, I use the baking soda/water mush to deactivate the peel, then cleanse the skin. Smooth as glass, I tell you. Worth every penny. No irritation for me or peeling or anything like that. I've tried LOTS of skin care items hoping one will smooth out my facial area (mainly the cheeks) and this is the only thing I've found that works. The search is over. *whew*

I'm 53 with dry skin, some wrinkles and discoloration. I started a couple of years ago with the 40% and have moved up to 65%, which I now use about 1x a week. Amazing product! I was scared at first but this couldn't be easier to use and you SEE results, which I can't say for so many other products! I am a huge fan!

    Great Peel
I have used the 30% and 50% glycolic acid peels. I was ready to increase the strength, so I decided to try Lactic Acid. Although this burns more than the previous peels, I like this one a lot more because the formula is thick and gel-like. For me this means I can get it on my face faster and more accurately than using a q-tip. This does leave me with a bit of flaking, but it is so worth the skin that is left behind.

    Refreshes my complexion
This peel is a step up from the 55% I was using. I do get light flaking around day three. I have only left this peel on for one to two minutes. Definitely refreshes my complexion.

    My skin is improving!
After using the 18% TCA peel, I used this two weeks later and I must say I am pleased. My acne scars and sun-damaged areas are slowly but surely diminished. It is clearly a great adjunct therapy between stronger peels to get desired results.

    Skin feels great!
I love how soft my skin feels afterwards. The peeling reduces after the first couple times of course, if you use regularly, and the discomfort is very mild and easily tolerable.

    Great products!
I love this product! Best advice is to start with low % and work your way up otherwise you will end up with dry flaky skin from it being to strong all at once. If used right this product is amazing and the claims are 100% right on and honest ! I love what this has done for my skin !

    Favorite Acid Peel
I first learned about MUAC from YouTube'r Dylan Barger. He explained how to use it and I started out with a 2 dram sample of the lowest lactic acid and worked my way up from there. Immediately notice a difference in my forehead lines.

    Love, Love, LOVE!
I have been using this peel once a week for the last month, and I have seen a huge difference in my skin! My acne is better (I am 35), my melasma is better, and my acne marks are fading. I can't see a huge difference in my fine lines and crows feet, but I am always very careful about putting it near my eyes. I will continue to use this every week.

    My wallet is happy!
Ive been paying anywhere from $50 to $150 monthly, for a medical aestitician, to do medical grade peels, amd micro dermabrasion, on my skin. I have had Enzyme, Jessner, and Salicylic acid treatments.(trying to get rid of fine lines, and post baby melasma) I purchased the 65% lactic peel from Makeup Artist choice, and im so excited. My results have been great. And it saved me soooo much money. My husband and my wallet are thrilled. I got the one ounce size, and was kinda dissappinted, when it arrived at how small the bottle was. But after using it, i know im going to get 20+ treatments out of it!!! Im 34 and my husband gave me a funny look today, while i was standing in our kitchen, and he said. "Thats so weird. You look 25! That stuff really makes your skin look so nice!" Thats it im sold. So excited to try more products.
