Mandelic (15%) Acid, Salicylic (15%) Acid Peel
(Instructions listed above.)

Our combination Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid Peel gives you a great alpha/beta treatment. Mandelic is an alpha hydroxy acid made from bitter almonds.

It's molecular structure is larger than glycolic acid and lactic acid, thus causing it to penetrate the skin more slowly = less topical irritation.  We've added the Salicylic Acid to help those of you with pesky acne and acne scarring issues.

Benefits:
  • Addresses issues caused by PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation).

  • Helps to resolve general hyperpigmentation issues, particularly those from acne marks and scarring.

  • Rapidly exfoliates dead skin cells and surface debris from the skin.

  • Mandelic acid has antimicrobial/antibacterial properties.  Salicylic acid will address clogged pores and sebum, making it an excellent choice for all types of acne, including cystic acne.

  • Loosens blackheads for easy extraction.

  • Excellent for clients with darker skin tones. It does not cause the unwanted, lighter skin tone changes that you might experience with other AHA's.

  • Inhibits the growth of melanin, the cause of brown patches, freckles, uneven skin tone and other sun-related skin care issues.

  • Mandelic acid, with continued use, can help repair sun damaged skin.
Aspirin Allergy Caution:
If you have aspirin allergies, do *not* use this product.

Nut Allergy Caution:
This product is derived from bitter almonds.

What can I expect when using this peel?

Upon application, within the first minute-or-so, you will feel very little topical sensation, perhaps none. Then, the skin may have a "warming" sensation, or slight tingling. Remember, that this acid will penetrate more slowly, thus the topical sensation will take a bit longer. Some clients will see actual peeling of the skin. Others will just notice the excellent exfoliation benefits and a brighter, more glowing skin tone.

Important

This product is *not* a serum. It has a watery consistency, so either dip a q-tip into the bottle for application, or remove the cap, place a gauze pad on the open bottle and tip it over to soak the gauze, then apply.

General Cautions:

  • Never use manual exfoliators nor scrubbing brushes within 24 hours of using a peel.
  • Stop Retin A, benzoyl peroxides, acne products and any other drying agents 24 hours before and after using an alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy peel.
  • If you are allergic to aspirin products, never use a salicylic acid nor beta hydroxy peel.
  • Never apply a peel without doing a patch-test first and waiting 48 hours for results.
  • Never apply a chemical peel to inflamed skin.
  • Always read product directions in their entirety and don't take shortcuts.
  • Use our BellEvolve Advanced Repair Cream for skin that has been chemically over processed.  It contains advanced healing agents that will quickly get your skin back to normal.
  • When in doubt about a caution, please write or call us for more information.

    Equivalent to Dermatologist Treatment
This product is excellent. I received two treatments of a chemical peel at a dermatologist's office costing $250 each. After trying this product, I haven't returned. This product is a fraction of the cost of a doctor's visit, and can be done in the convenience of your home. Although the peeling may be unsightly initially, the end result is amazing. I have African American skin and it was safe on my skin.

    Not for me
I did everything according to the instructions: allergy test, applying with a q tip. The first time was great, no burning, no reaction. Then the second time (probably over a week after) I applied too close to my mouth and got a chemical burn that just peeled off. I decided to try a third time, staying away from the corners of my mouth, and it did the strangest thing: My entire face was fine except for one tiny spot on my cheek next to my right nostril (1cm diameter circle) and then a rather large spot on the right side of my chin. I had to wash it all off within 2 minutes because it burned but just in those two spots. Those burns also peeled off but they left some hyperpigmentation. I kept all burns covered in vaseline until a little after they peeled. I can't use it anymore. I have the mandelic peel and it works fine, no reaction. Just a heads-up. If you feel anything close to burning, just wash it off IMMEDIATELY, don't get burned like I did. The only areas I would use it on are my forehead and neck and chest, and avoid everything in between. ***Living in Florida, the amount of sun exposure you're receiving could have an effect on how readily the acid absorbs on various areas of your face. The skin does not absorb acids evenly, so spot treating as you have described is a good way to use the product.***

    GREAT FOR STARTERS
This is great for beginners. My 1st application EVER : )- the burning sensation caught me off guard but overall 'bearable'. I noticed darken of skin 2nd day and very VERY slight peeling around mouth area ( where most of my frosting occurred ). This is a light peel so I wasn't to thrilled with the 1st app- I'm on my 5th app (11/22/15) and my skin looks AWESOME!! Smaller pores, my skin glows, dark spots on my cheeks have literally disappeared. I had to make time and finally write this review. It is a great product that I've already recommended to friends, family and strangers- when they compliment my skin- A sample bottle is more than enough for at least 7-12apps... I'm gonna move up to something a bit stronger. Perfect for dark skin tones!!

    Works Well for Me!
I have normal skin & had acne problems as a kid that left behind a lot of scarring (my fault for popping them). I have been looking for something to reduce the marks, without having to bleach my skin. looking at reviews I did want to try it out. Thank God this company does the sample size tryout. I began noticing results in 1 week. My boyfriend can tell the difference. I am feeling confident about my scars. This is an amazing product & you have a customer for a while!

    Money well spent
I am a 37 black/Caribbean female who suffered with acne breakouts and occasional cystic acne. Trying to find a solution for my skin problem led me to the MUAC website after reading the positive reviews on Youtube. After a consultation with a MUAC esthetician, I started the sample size of the Mandelic Peel. After about three weekly uses of the peel, there was noticeable improvements in the clarity and texture of my skin and I was experiencing less breakouts. A small amount goes a long way and you can get about 8 to 10 applications from the sample bottle. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS PROPERLY or you will end up with negative results. Because it is a chemical peel, you will experience a burning sensation and after a few days, there may be peeling. For me, there was no significant peeling. Also, it is very important to use a moisturizer with a high SPF. Comparing other peels, I didn't have to worry about the lightening of my skin.

    Almost Perfect
This stuff is strong but not too strong. For an effective peel, I can actually leave it on for about 10 minutes, and don't need ant neutralizer, just lots of water followed by gentle towling followed by 100% hyaluronic followed by 100% argan oil, three days later I begin peeling then finish peeling about three days after that, so in about a week some awesome results can be achieved. But for me, I have to start at the chin and work my way upward, with this sitting the least amount of time on my forehead as that seems to be my most sensitive area. Also, I have to be cautious to not let it sit in the grooves on the side of my nose, as that itches like crazy when irritated... The reason this is ALMOST PERFECT, for me, is that it could be a little stronger with Mandelic Acid, maybe 25 percent would be perfection, because there is a limit to what Salicylic Acid can achieve and how long it can sit on the skin, but Mandelic acid however has many more benefits -- so I am just switching to MUAC's 40% Mandelic, and using this merely for spot treatment. But I advise caution with spot treating! Only apply it directly to a pimple, like with the end of a qtip right on the blemish, do not place on large areas of the face and leave it there for more than a few minutes before rinsing, however, little tiny drops applied to blemishes can be left unrinsed with awesome results that are indeed overnight and miraculous ;)

Never used a chemical peel before
I've never used a chemical peel before but boy was I in for a treat! 1st application, I couldn't leave over 30 secs w/out rinsing out. There was frosting around my mouth & nose & subsequent peeling for a week. 2 weeks later I did a second peel & I was able to leave on for 3 mins while standi NH in front of a fan. Same thing happened w/frosting & peeling. It's been 3 days since my second try & I am still peeling. I hope like my 1st experience that clearer skin resurfaces. I'd like to add that I have extremely sensitive, oily dark W.African skin (mac makeup NW43). SO far I haven't experienced any skin lightening or discoloration. Just beautiful clear complexion.

    Not a Fan
I first purchased the 15% salicylic acid peel. I was really happy with it, so when I saw this and it said it's basically the same thing but with less burn I jumped at it. The 15% salicylic only never makes me peel, but this does. I peel like crazy. Also, with the salicylic only, it just wipe and my blackheads are gone. With this product, all it does is bring them to the surface and I have to spend the next half hour squeezing them out. And, the only reason I switched was to avoid the burn. This stuff still stings just like the salicylic only. It may make other people happy, but I'll be switching back.

I tried this after I had been using the 25% Mandelic peel. This one seemed stronger to me. I had some burning sensation from this peel, some dryness, and slight peeling for about 5 days. It does seem to do a good job, but the 25% Mandelic peel is less irritating to my skin.

    Pretty good peel.
I have been using this peel about once a week for about two months now. It does usually burn to varying degrees soon after application, although sometimes has hardly caused any irritation. I do leave it on for the full 5 minutes. So far I have not experienced any chemical burns from it. I do use MUAC's Advanced Hyaluronic Serum daily and find my skin tolerates this peel much better if I have been very good with applying the hyaluronic acid twice a day for the days leading up to the peel. The hyaluronic serum also immediately relieves any discomfort I experience after rinsing off the peel. I bought this peel to address some lines I have on my forehead, and some boxcar scars on my cheeks from acne in my teen years as well as enlarged pores on my nose, cheeks and chin. It most noticeably helps with the scarring and enlarged pores, in fact the scarring on my cheeks will often be nearly gone for a few days after using this peel. However, I haven't noticed much of a progressive effect from using this peel weekly. The results have usually faded quite a bit after a week, when it is time for my next peel.

    Beyond Pleased
Background: I am an AA female in my late 20s and have suffered from moderate acne that results in dark spots and scaring on a consistent basis since my pre-teen years. Ive seen a few dermatologists who prescribed my topical creams and antibiotics with mixed results. I became pregnant and gave birth in my early 20's, and, as a nice side effect, I had beautiful, clear skin. About 3 years after my child's birth, my skin began to break out again and become uneven in texture. I was on a makeup board and saw that another AA woman had gotten a TCA peel. Curious, I did some research which led me to MUAC. I sent an email with pictures and my background information and received a response with recommendations. I am 4 weeks in and am pleased with my results. I use the peel once a week. After my first peel, my skin became tight and crepey. On the fourth day I wanted to CRY. My skins was peeling something awful, I'm talking all over, like something from a movie, but by the 6th day it was done. I have now completed my fourth peel, and even though my skin still peels, but by the 6th day my skin had finished peeling and is radiant. My dark spots are fading and my skin texture & tone is evening out. I step outside of the recommendation and follow up with the mandelic acid serum every night. I can't wait to see the difference after my 8th peel. I am beyond pleased and think I will try the 25% mandelic because I have read it causes less, if any, peeling.

    Love this product
I love the mandelic/Salicylic Peel! My skin used to be perfect but after I started wearing makeup which lead to breakouts, darkspots and oily skin. Eventually I started wearing even more makeup to cover up the damage makeup had caused. Finally I had enough and refused to continue damaging my skin. I searched high and low for a product that would make these dark marks go away. Finally I came across acid peels. I was so afraid to try an acid peel to because I didn't want to be hideous during the process and I watched a lot of cringe worthy YouTube reviews. However I did my research and decided to try this peel since there was said to be little to no noticeable peeling of the skin. And I'm in love. It works as quickly as I hoped and my results are amazing. 3 weeks using the product and my face is nearly back to normal. Thank you MUAC for making this possible for me and so many others. I don't know how I would have gotten back to myself without you.

I am of Caribbean complexion with a brown complexion. I have very sensitive skin, oily skin and I was very skeptical about choosing this product especially after using so many other things on the market. I have never done a chemical pill but I've heard many good things about this one. I bought the sample size to try and after one peel I seen amazing results. I am on my third peel now and my face has completely changed. My face is more even in skin-tone, little to no acne spots, or hyperpigmentation and my complexion is much brighter. Little to no downtime with this peel and very light peeling. I do it every Sunday, face peels Monday-Wednesday, then I use the MUAC Micro Polish to remove extra skin on Thursday. I use raw Shea butter and sunscreen everyday to stay moisturized and protected. BEAUTIFUL combination! Holy grail

    AWESOME!!!
My sensitive skin (coco complexion) became really dry and discolored from the harsh winter. I also had some dark acne scarring. I've used this product about 3 times (once a week) and i can truly see the difference; although it's not perfect yet, much of the blotchy discolored dry areas have cleared. Since my skin is so dry i like to use it with Vaseline and vitamin E oil at night. My skin is less dry in most areas ( the chin area is still a little dry but much better) and my complexion is becoming more even. I also use the Mandelic/ Salicylic cleanser and toner, which is also wonderful. I highly recommend this product and will continue to use it .

Great chemical peel for brown girls
I am African-American and suffer from bad acne scarring (hyperpigmentation). I can develop white heads and/or black heads easily because I have oily skin and large pores. I have had chemical peels done professionally by both estheticians and dermatologists. If you've ever had a chemical peel before, you know that you will normally pay a minimum of $75 per peel. And most people with problematic skin like me need more than one chemical peel a year. This can get to be very expensive. After using this chemical peel, I doubt that I will ever be going to get a chemical peel done professionally again. MUAC just saved me a lot of money. When I applied mine, I applied it more heavily to the areas that had the most scarring. I left it on for about 5 minutes before just rinsing it off with cool water. My skin didn't start visibly peeling until around 2 days later. And it peeled quite a bit. So I would suggest doing this on a week/weekend that you don't have a lot of plans to be out in public. I did mine on a Thursday night and my chin area was peeling pretty good by Saturday. I still did my normal errands, but I wouldn't have wanted to attend any special events with my face peeling that way. If you've ever had a peel done before though, you already know the risks.

    not sure
I have used this product 3 times within about a month and a half. The first use was okay I did notice it toned my skin very well in the areas I didn't have blemishes. The 2nd time I applied 3 layers over my problem areas and once over the other areas of my skin. I peeled for about 2 weeks which was weird because I exfoliated every 4 days and would peel more after. Well, this third time as soon as I applied the formula I started burning and I did not do anything different. I used the ph balance to prep my face and washed it with the complimentary face wash that MUAC provided to me. My skin seems to me more sensitive in areas above my mouth and around my nose. Is this normal? I just want to see good results. ****MUAC Comment: Sensitivies can be normal with any acid peel. This is why it's so important to remove the peel immediately upon feeling any type of discomfort, particularly if you are using other products for exfoliation. Never over-exfoliate. It's unhealthy for your skin. Make certain you are properly moisturizing.****

    Dries pimples, skin feels smoother.
Great product to use if you have active pimples and scarring because it helps to kill and dry out the pimples, and at the same time shed away the old, darker skin. It usually takes me a full week to recover from this. The first couple of days, my face will feel taut and look polished. The next 2 - 3 days, my skin will be flakey all over and shedding. Finally, what's left is a smoother complexion.

    Wonderful Product
This product can be used in a lot of ways. For me, it works well as a spot treatment and as a T-zone treatment. I use a lot of products to maintain my skin, including some Rx products. This product helps a lot with the occasional blemish—and even with the more than occasional blemish (which I had before the topical antibiotics). With a spot treatment of 1-2 minutes before bed, this really reduces the healing time, appearance, etc of the blemish. Lots of products claim overnight success, which we all want, but this is the closest I have found. It also works well, for me, as a pore treatment in the T-zone. I don't leave this on very long—3 minutes and call it done. I have dark spots from sun/scars, and I can't say whether this helps, except that it helps prevent scars since it helps the blemishes to both stay away and disappear without a big production. Try it. The way I use this, the sample size lasts for a long time.

    Disappointed
So, I have to say that I am only writing this review to help someone that may have had the same mindset I did, when I started researching products. I have never had a problem with acne or constant breakouts, I do have pimples here and there and I can never resist the temptation on popping them. I have a few dark spots that I was looking to get rid of and when I came across this site, I was more than excited. I am African American and my skin tone is medium. Amongst all the research that I have done, I was pleased with the description of how non-potent the mandelic/salicylic acid peel was. I wouldn't say that I have sensitive skin, I have never had a problem with other products that I have used. But, I wanted to try this to take aways my dark spots and I loved the fact that it was described as not being harsh on the skin. Needless to say, I am not happy. I followed the directions to the letter, I currently have more dark spots that what I went into it with. I thank God that I didn't do my whole face, I just spot treated and in that area I have a bigger dark spot. I didn't even leave this product on for more than 2 minutes, I could stand it. It burned really bad. I say all of that to say, if you really don't have acne and constant breakouts and you are just looking to spot treat, per my experience, I would not recommend this product.

My only complaint about MUAC is that there's too many amazing products! But that's not really a complaint, just that everything works so well for me I never know what to use! But the product that gives me the results I need is the man/salicylic peel. I went from having huge pores on my forehead and cheeks to practically zero visible pores. I'm not kidding! This peel is intense and feels like a sunburn, but results are stunning. I hardly recognize my skin, and my makeup is flawless. I was always searching for the perfect foundation and little did I know that it had nothing to with that! It was this peel that made the difference. Even my junky foundations look amazing on my new skin. My skin is way less oily, so smooth, and my fine lines are gone. Follow the directions to a t and I started out leaving it on for 30 seconds the first two times. By my third/ fourth peel I reached 1 minute in length and I'm hoping to get to 3 minutes. I can't say enough great things about this peel and this company!

    Awesome!
I have done 6 weekly mandelic/salicylic peels using the sample bottle. I was very hesitant to use this at home but I saw changes in my skin after the first application. I would describe my skin as congested and easily clogged up with stress, silicone based products and changes in weather. I had lots of bumps on my cheeks, chin and temples. Now my skin is so incredibly smooth with minor bumps on the chin and temples. There was a period where the skin was really purging because of the peels but it was to be expected and totally worth it after getting through the top layers. I'm so impressed with this product. I wet a cotton pad and use a small amount of the liquid from the sample bottle. It itched a lot to start with but my skin seems to tolerate it the more I use it. I do this weekly and use the Triple Enzyme mask in between.

    It Burns!
Okay so despite the title, this stuff is actually very effective and works great! You just have to be smart and pay attention to your skin and not the directions. It says to leave on for around 3 minutes but the first time I used it, I fought through 10 seconds and rinsed immediately. Within a couple days, I started peeling but it revealed beautiful, new skin underneath. It also helped shrink the pores on my nose, chin and forehead, fade break out scars and shrink the small lines on my forehead. My skins oily-ness has definitely evened out too. Overall, great product! Just pay attention to your skin and try to increase time with each application, and be sure NOT to use anything with acid or exfoliants in it 24 hours before or after. You don't want to dry too much.

I healed from the mask and revealed beautiful skin quickly. The dark marks are fading quickly and are barely visible. I am sure this fourth application will cause the scarring to disappear to reveal even tone skin.

this peel is more powerful than I gave it credit for in the beginning. I read a review that someone left it on all night so I did that. Dont do that. Two days later I got little fluid blisters all over my skin that thank god went away. Follow the directions and you will get a nice treatment to the skin.

    Thank You
This chemical peel is exceptional. I am an African American woman (about Kelly Rowlands shade) I went through so many websites and youtube channels for a review on this product before I purchased it. It's hard because you honestly don't know if people are being paid for advertisement or the company is deleting the majority of the negative comments. I said a small prayer and entered my credit card info for the minimal amount of product (hoping it would show at the least a small improvement to my skin). I must say this chemical peel exceeded my expectations. The 1st day I didn't see any peeling, but after day 3 it started peeling and I immediately noticed a difference. If you are new to chemical peels I would suggest you invest in a good sunscreen and make sure you moisturize! Honestly, this chemical peel lives up to the hype! I will definitely be back for another purchase.

    I like!
This was a first time peel for me, i’ve used it once and i plan to use it again tomorrow. i did extensive research before using it but the small sheet of precautions that came with it was nice and it felt like the company cares about their customers and results. the peel itself felt very gentle, some slight stinging and a teensy bit of skin peeling (expected from a light peel) and overall got the job done very well! also i got a complementary lotion which was nice.

    Great Peel
Short story: this is a great peel, and I highly recommend it. Long story: I have hormonal/cystic acne and lots of PIH on my cheeks, chin, and jawline that has erupted in the last few months. After research, I decided to try some exfoliants. I wanted to go with mandelic and salicylic b/c of the acne and PIH. I purchased a sample of the mandelic/salicylic with the ph prep toner, post-peel neutralizer, and argan oil. I started out weekly with 30 seconds and worked up to 5 minutes using a cotton pad and dabbing on problem areas. I had very small areas of frosting on already present acneic cysts during the 4 and 5 minute peels. Wasn't getting the results I wanted, so used a fan brush on fifth peel. I used petroleum jelly to keep the product from contact with my mouth and nose areas. I poured a tablespoon into a small glass bowl and used my brush to focus on my problem areas first (cheeks and jawline), then swept it towards less severe areas. I couldn't even keep it on for 3 minutes. My entire face frosted. It felt like I had poured gasoline on my face and lit a match. But I'm a reasonable consumer and decided not to push myself and went ahead and used the neutralizer. After the neutralizer and some cold water, my skin was fine. Post-peel I used argan oil, moisturizer, and a thick coat of petroleum jelly. The next day I looked like a burn victim, red, splotchy skin, but I was confident that this was all going according to plan. I slathered on sunscreen and moisturizer and said screw it and went to work without make-up. That evening, I repeated the same moisturizing. Third day: I had tight crusts on my face especially my chin and inner cheek areas. It looked really awful. It was hard to smile b/c I felt like I was going to tear my skin, but again, all according to plan. Just be gentle and keep using the moisturizer and sunscreen. That night, I repeated my moisture routine. Fourth day: I washed my face and skin was coming off in sheets. I admit I did pick at it just a bit to encourage some of the skin to come off probably sooner than it would have liked. DO NOT DO THAT! The skin underneath felt sensitive, but was smooth and the pores were much smaller. The PIH was definitely faded from dark red marks to faint pink. I slathered on sunscreen, moisturizer, argan and grapeseed oils on the third and fourth days. I purchased the regular size and will continue to use it with two weeks in between to allow time to heal.

    Amazing
I mix a small amount of this into my daily moisturizer. I found that doing peels was inconvenient due to the down time while my skin peeled but applying a small amount with moisturizer caused absolutely no irritation or flaking but the results are unbelievable. My acne prone skin has been horribly bumpy for over a year. Covered in tiny bumps that nothing would heal (not even applying peels the traditional way) but this has changed my skin. I am so so thankful and will never stop using this product this way. I know it's not how it's intended to be used but I wanted to share because this is the only product (including retin a micro) that has changed my skin. I am so grateful. This is the first time my skin has ever looked great. THANK YOU MUAC!!!!!!!!!

    Made skin more uneven
I was so excited to try this peel based on several recommendations for my sun spots, light wrinkles, mila and discoloration/hyperpigmentationI've been using this peel for a few months now one a week and I have noticed that my skin has become more on even and I believe I have even gotten more hyperpigmentation because of it.

    Pretty good
This is the second peel I used after trying the 25% Mandelic peel. My skin is cystic acne/oily lots of hyperpigmentation and redness. This peel does the job. My cystic acne is better, pores got smaller over all texture improved. However the downtime was too much. This peel frosted and then the red patches and spots and followed by peeling. About 7-10 days of being not presentable for public veiwing. But this peel did help me to step up to the Jessner's Peel. I do used it now just to help clear my skin in-between the Jessner's Peel. I apply it for about 30 secs to a minute and then wash off. Also use it for spot treatments. Helps to keep acne and oil under control. Pore size is reduced and no downtime!

    Pretty effective so far
I decided to learn more about the world of chemical peels after trying just about everything-cleansers, creams, lotions, etc. I felt like my weekly treatments of scrubs and masks weren't really cutting it and I wanted to take a more aggressive approach to treating my stubborn hormonal acne which is concentrated mostly on my chin, jawline and even my neck. The thought of a "chemical" peel is daunting of course if you're new to it, so I am glad that MUAC has helpful staff to address questions about products before you purchase them. I answered a few questions about my skin type, my normal skin care routine and any other factors that might be helpful in deciding the proper peel for me. I have used this peel once a week 4 times so far and although I still have breakouts sprouting here and there I feel as if the texture of my skin has improved and I even have some spots that have diminished dramatically or disappeared. I am looking forward to even better results after the full 10-week process. I would recommend for someone who is new to peels to brace yourself for the sting of the product, which only lasts for the first minute, in my experience. Also, it is very important to keep your skin hydrated after peeling since your skin will begin to actually peel and feel raw-like, so please purchase the argan oil if you don't already own a rich natural oil at home.

    Mandelic salicylic peel
This is my first review on this website. I'm fairly new to chemical peels. My first one ever was muac mandelic 25%. Then my second one was the fade peel. Third was the 25% mandelic again, and fourth one was the mandelic salicylic. I'm not sure how to feel about this one. It burned terribly!!!! I left on for about 3-4 minutes then I started to frost around my mouth. I then washed off which burned even more. After washing off, the creases around my mouth were very dark. I wanted to cry as I'm thinking "wtf did I just do to my face?!" I emailed customer service and they told me it was post peeling hyperpigmrntation. This made me want to cry even more. The whole reason for me purchasing this was to combat my hyperpigmentation since all the reviews praised this product. The 1st and 2nd day after, my skin was soo tight. I could barely move my mouth. I had dark dry patches in the places where I frosted, that I made sure to keep moisturized every minute on the hour. Every morning & night I washed with cetaphil only. The 3rd day I started peeling and later that night I used the micro polish to help lightly scrub off the dead peeling skin. The whole week I was regretting the decision I made until after I scrubbed off the dead skin and was surprised at how incredibly soft my skin was. I kid you not! The 4th day I still was peeling, and still was staying moisturized with neosporin or unrefined cocoa or unrefined shea butter and did not in no way peel the skin myself but just let it fall off on its on Today has been a week since using the peel, and still have a little bit of peeling left to do so I'm going to skip out on my next peel this week but I must say...my oh my, have my dark spots lightened nearly 85%!!!! Infinite thanks to muac :)

    Great Alpha/Beta
I regularly use the 15% Salicylic Acid peel, and wanted to also incorporate an AHA into my routine to help with some stubborn closed comedones and hyperpigmentation. This was gentle enough for me without any prior AHA use, although it does sting considerably more for me than the 15% Salicylic Acid alone. I also haven't had any noticeable peeling or flaking. For context, I have sensitive but very oily and acne-prone skin with mild rosacea. I appreciate that I can reap the benefits of both an AHA and BHA in this peel, instead of having to rotate between different peels each week, since my skin gets very clogged if I skip a week of salicylic acid. Great alpha/beta treatment all around!

    Gives me hope!!!
I found this product while researching online about how to treat closed comedones. I have had those flesh colored bumps all over my face for years and was getting terribly discouraged. Dermo prescribed Rentinol cream which did nothing. This product has literally changed my life. It started working immediately to clear my clogged pores. I had never used a chemical peel before and my skin was very sensitive. I started with two-minute applications once per week, then worked my way up 3 minutes and so on. For the first 4-5 weeks, I broke out quite a bit, but it was just the closed comedones purging. Now that the pores are finally cleared and the outer layer of skin is sloughed off, the new skin revealed underneath is smooth and there aren't any more of those bumps! I am so happy with this product. My condition has improved dramatically. My confidence has increased and I love my face again! Haven't felt this way since before puberty! Note--the sample size last a long while! I've been using it for 9 weeks and I still have some left! Definitely start with the sample size first!

    Decent
I have pretty congested skin and have used dermatologist prescribed products and they were never as effective. I decided to give peels a shot. I recommend this to start for certain. However, I personally will move up to a 25% because my skin is just too congested. For a lower strength I would say it has gotten rid of at least 35-40% of my whiteheads and blackheads. I perform extractions but not on parts that are not easily removed, trust me you will get there don't force it or it can damage your skin. I use this along with a triple enzyme peel and it is a great addition to help with larger pores. As a side note, I started these peels over the summer and discontinued use when I got too busy and quite frankly a bit careless about my skin (sleeping with makeup on....ugh) and the acne did return but that has nothing to do with the potency of the product. I recommend having a solid skin care routine that works to keep your pores clean on a daily basis. For skin like mine, which is super oily, I have to cleanse twice a day sometimes less in the winter to prevent drying out my skin. Honestly though this is absolutely a genius way of keeping your skin congestion free! Just remember to use sunblock with these products! I am pretty pale and wouldn't ever go a day without it even in the winter.

    The Pimple Killer
This is the most amazing spot treatment for acne. I know once I apply it, it will have dried up the pimple overnight and then it's goodbye pimple. No more waiting for it to take a couple of days to come to a head and fretting over whether to pop it. Will repurchase, always. Salicylic for life.

I can only give it a 1 star because my skin did not react well to it at all... i did a test patch on my jawline and had 0 reaction and 2 days later i put it all over my face and not even 20 seconds in, it was unbearable and my right cheek was left with a burn so now i'be backtracked into fading my dark marks. my skin is extremely sensitive and i have combo skin as well... ****MUAC Comment: We're terribly your skin did not react well to this product. The office will be in touch with you via email, Danna. Thank you for your feedback.****
