TCA AT HOME CHEMICAL PEELS 12.5, 15, 18, 30
TCA At Home Chemical Peels
Trichloracetic Acid or TCA Peels are a deeper peel and deeper penetrating class of acids. These peels are excellent for improving irregular skin tones, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, fine lines, lip lines, and dark spots. TCA peels are known to treat conditions like acne, acne scars, sun damage, age spots, and general scarring. TCA has been the benchmark peeling acid for many years.
TCA peels use trichloroacetic acid to improve your skin's tone and appearance. These peels come in a variety of strengths and concentrations. Makeup Artist's Choice offers TCA chemical peels in both lower and higher concentrations.
Our 30% TCA Adjustable Kit allows you to create any strength you need by using our "recipes" within the instructions... just add distilled water, per the directions to dilute the 30% TCA to the percentage you need.
TCA chemical peels include:
TCA Chemical Peel is a medium depth peel that penetrates through the superficial epidermis which is the outermost layer of your skin. Then the peel reaches the papillary dermis, which is the uppermost layer of the dermis.
TCA has been the benchmark peeling acid for many years. TCA peels are great for most skin types. Darker skin tones, however, need to use lower strength TCA's to eliminate the possibility of having the peel darken the skin. We recommend beginning with the 12.5% strength using up to four layers. If more peeling is needed, move up to 15% but avoid going to higher strengths. Pre-treat your skin with our Fade Serum for 2 weeks before you apply your TCA.
PRE-TREATING YOUR SKIN BEFORE A TCA PEEL
To get the most from your TCA peel:
If you are using our TCA for anti-aging purposes, using our MUAC .30 Retinol every other night for two weeks pre-peel will help you achieve the best results. Retinol and TCA work beautifully together, particularly when .30 Retinol is used as a pre-treatment.
Darker skin tones should use our Fade Serum each day for two weeks pre-peel to help with uneven melanin and general evening of skin tones. Stay in the 12.5% - 15% strengths to avoid unwanted skin darkening. This can happen at any strength but is more likely once you go above 15%.
Proper pre-peel treating can help manage darkening issues. Our Fade Serum is an excellent product for this purpose. Use it daily for 10-14 days before your TCA peel.
You might also like our lactic acid peels, glycolic acid peels, mandelic acid peels, or salicylic acid peels. Each of these peels chemically exfoliates the skin improving lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.
