Always patch-test the skin before applying a chemical peel. Test along the jawline, below the ear. Apply a quarter-size area of peeling serum and leave on the skin for 5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly, then cleanse with an acid-free cleanser such as our Green Tea Pomegranate Cleansing Gel. Wait 24-48 hours to see if undue redness or irritation develops.
5 Minutes is the maximum time this peel should be left on the skin, therefore, if your patch area is red at the 5 minute marker, your first peel should only be left on the skin for a total of 2 minutes.
Cleanse and dry skin. Make sure the skin is thoroughly dry.
Apply peeling serum with clean fingers, beginning with the forehead area and working down the face. The peel can be applied to the neck and chest areas, as well. Leave on the skin 2-5 minutes, based on the above patch-test.
