Description
40% Lactic Peel – Gentle Chemical Exfoliation for Sensitive Skin
The 40% Lactic Peel (pH 2.9) is a non-irritating, rapid exfoliating lactic acid peel designed for smoother, brighter, and more refined skin. If you are new to chemical peeling, this is an excellent peel to begin with. Those with sensitive skin often tolerate the 40% Lactic Chemical At home Peel very well, and it is also ideal for users who have reached a plateau with other acid treatments.
Because lactic acid is a naturally occurring human metabolite, there is a significantly lower risk of allergic reaction compared to other chemical peels. If you are seeking an effective peel with a strong acidic value and virtually no irritation, this peel is an excellent choice.

Savings vs. Salon Treatments
Professional lactic acid peel treatments typically cost around $75 per session at salons and spas. With the 40% Lactic Chemical Peel, you receive professional-grade exfoliation at home with substantial long-term savings.
Information for Acne-Prone Skin
At the start of treatments, pores clogged with sebum, dirt, and dead skin cells may purge. Temporary breakouts are normal as the peel accelerates pore cleansing. Within approximately 3 weeks, skin clarity typically improves with fewer breakouts.
For extremely oily skin types, consider using our

After the At-Home Chemical Lactic Peel
Skin may feel warm or appear pink — this is normal. If burning occurs, remove immediately with cool water or neutralizer. While visible peeling is minimal, exfoliation is active and effective. Skin feels noticeably smoother and more refined immediately and the following day.
Apply SPF 30 or higher daily for several days post-peel. For additional guidance on sun protection after exfoliation, refer to recommendations from the Skin Cancer Foundation (external source).
Use weekly for 8–10 weeks for optimal results.
