What is Mandelic Acid?
Mandelic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds, offering a number of benefits for the skin.
The molecular structure of mandelic acid is larger than other AHAs such as glycolic acid and lactic acid. This means it penetrates more slowly and is less irritating, making it ideal for sensitive skin.

What Can I Expect?
Upon application, you will feel a warm tingling sensation as the acid penetrates slowly. 40% Mandelic Acid Peel, you may notice light flaking, especially around the mouth and nose.
Important: This is a watery solution, not a serum. Use a Q-tip or a soaked gauze pad for application.
Directions for Use 40% Mandelic Acid Peel
Always patch test!

Patch test areas you plan to treat (e.g., jawline) and wait 24–48 hours.

Cleanse with a non-acid cleanser (we recommend our Green Tea Pomegranate Cleanser). Pat dry.

Use pH Prep Solution on a cotton pad to remove oils and dirt (or Witch Hazel for sensitive skin).

Apply thin layers of peel, starting at the forehead and moving down. Do not rub in.

Leave on for 5–10 minutes, rinse with warm-to-cool water, and optionally use Post Peel Neutralizer.

Apply non-acid, non-retinoid moisturizer (we recommend Argan Oil,Skin resurfacing peel, or Green Tea Moisturizer).
Post-Peel Notes:

Skin may feel warm or pink—this is normal

Burns? Remove immediately with cool water or Post Peel Neutralizer

Visible peeling may be minimal, but exfoliation is taking place
-
Use SPF 30+ for several days post-peel
Recommended Schedule: Weekly for 8–10 weeks for best results
